Three spectacular 6thC Gandharan stucco images of the Buddha from Hadda near Jallalabad in S Afghanistan, made when, according to Xuanzang, Jellalabad was seen as the N gateway to India. All are a little later than the sculptures I posted earlier & even more delicate & refined.

I enjoyed the film but some critics panned it because it was a commercial failure.
Great photos. I can see the western influence.
