Those Reps and Senators who voted to acquit Trump in the second

Impeachment are traitors to their oaths and their country. At the very least, they should be censured.

I know, ain’t gonna happen. Sigh. But I don’t think any one of them is trustworthy after their disgusting, cowardly votes.

1. Those same reps and senators all know that he was installed by Russia in 2016 and they were ...

... fine with that too. Many of them publicly admitted that he was guilty of the charges in his
1st impeachment trial in the senate even though they voted to hear no testimony from witnesses
or see any of the evidence before they acquitted Trump and then they all watched Trump calling for
mob violence in order to over turn the election results on 1/6/21 and still they voted to acquit him
for a 2nd time.

He gave out the day, the date, the time, and the place on many occasions. Helped pay for "it,"
helped to set it up and he decapitated the D.C. national guard prior so they could not provide
any help on 1/6/21, and when it was over he tweeted out to the rioters that he "loved them."



And still the republicans gave him a pass on this violence. BTW i had to deal with some Trumpers
on election day 2020 in OH and some of them are the lowest of the low and not nice people too.

5. Every time I go out...

Either to town or up to the county seat, a small city, I encounter them and I agree, there are some real sludge dwellers out there. I see them in grocery parking lots having longish conversations while sitting in their trucks with tinted windows. One or two hanging around outside watching the traffic going in and out of the store. Pretty creepy.

what democracy couldn't digest, and passed thru its system. They. KNEW. he was Putin's bitch--to hear witnesses and see evidence in that farce of a trial, putting the facts out before the American people, would have virtually REQUIRED them to convict him, and they couldn't take that chance. I hate it that in our system, due process works slowly, which means that a lot of time can pass until the wrongs of one party can be adjudicated by the other. The passage of time is not a reason to end the search for justice and closure.

I'm all for Congressional hearings that stretch to the distant future if it means that the American people can see that this GOP has ties to Russia (et al.) and that we were all in dire peril and still may be.
