1. Rumsfeld was heavily invested in and made killing on Tamiflu (Oseltamivir) for H5N1 (Avian flu)

Produced by Gilead Pharmaceuticals. He had been on their board prior to joining Bush* admin.

I have no reason to believe he has any relationship to Gilead's Remdesivir's development; however, Pfizer did agree to produce if on behalf of Gilead last August, so if Rumsfeld is still invested then he's likely made even more hand-over-fist $$$

4. John F. Cogan is their Corporate Chair. Rumsfeld WAS on their board of directors.

That does not appear the case today per their SEC filing:

He profited over continued investment, but I've not seen his name on the board in years.
