(118,499 posts)I always thought he was out of his depth on economics as he is a historian. But that didn't stop him from writing books promoting neoliberalism and Republicans economic policy. Maybe people like Ferguson is who the Koch brother was talking to just after the 2020 election when the Koch brother said he did not mesn to divide the country. Yeah.. he meant for women and the educated to vote republican too, not peel off. Anyhow. I will never care for Ferguson. I mention him only because he is a bellwhether.

(9,895 posts)These "Q-Anon believers" are utter fools. They talk about "research" constantly and yet their "research" consists ENTIRELY of online Google Searches and internet "sources" and innuendo with no real attributing to legitimate sources or even verifiable facts.
ANYONE who looks at this stuff with anything but abject horror is the problem in today's world.
What a freak show...

(5,914 posts)What a bunch of fucking losers. Q-Anon is a LARP for pathetic hygiene-challenged booger-devourers who have absolutely NOTHING to offer the world.
I felt filthy watching what I did.

I think Q was indeed identified, but the investigation didn't name him explicitly at the end of the 6th and final episode. (No spoilers from me.)
Those a-holes trying to remain mostly hidden in the shadows would've never had much influence without an attention-seeking hound like Trump, though, to be their figurehead.
That seems to be the main criteria for a GOP leader nowadays. Someone without shame or conscience, and always willing to thrust themselves into the limelight no matter their inadequacies or lack of talent. Sheer willpower without a solid foundation.
