(22,112 posts)coke too, among others. Coke is according to some, one of the best run companies out there. If Georgia is not careful, I suspect that if Coke gets pissed off, might start considering moving some operations out of Georgia.
God, I thought the republican party is all about companies and businesses but obviously not, they are only about themselves and the dictatorships they're setting up in each of the states they are operating in. And, they apparently don't listen to anyone else but themselves.

(5,477 posts)but now his wingnut supporters are calling for everyone to boycott Coke products, so it's putting him in an uncomfortable position...to do what he wants, or to follow the far right.
I'm guessing that he continues to do what he wants, like always, and makes hypocrisy great again!

(1,639 posts). . . would require a personal sacrifice. Sacrifice is one of those concepts beyond his ken, like honor, humility and service. Honestly, I don't know how the hell anyone can admire him. But then, most of his followers probably just envy his ability to behave like a complete a-hole and get away with it. . . That's what they really love about him.
So prior to WWII Coca Cola was number two in soft drink sales in America. They got the bright idea of shipping over the 6 1/2 bottles to England for free to the G.I. and the rest is history. Trump and the rest ofcthe Republicans have no idea who they are dealing with.

I remember my SIL in finance saying there are good companies and bad, but I thought he was just telling his MIL a simple story. But lately, we might be seeing is a corporate divide about human rights, and that maybe he was on to something.

Coca-Cola executives would probably die in a mysterious helicopter crash beforehand.

Oct. 10, 1989: 3 Trump execs, 2 pilots die as helicopter crashes in Parkway median.
LACEY TOWNSHIP -- Three of Donald Trump's top casino executives were killed when their helicopter plummeted into a wooded median of the Garden State Parkway in Ocean County Tuesday afternoon.
Stephen F. Hyde, 43, who bore responsibility for Trump's three Atlantic City casino properties, Taj Mahal top executive Mark G. Etess, 38, and Jonathan Benanav, 33, executive vice president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, were killed along with the craft's two pilots.
"I'm sick, just sick; it's unbelievable," repeated Trump several times, his voice cracking with emotion during an interview Tuesday....
Witnesses said the helicopter began spinning uncontrollably when its rotor apparently became detached from the body of the craft and crashed to the ground about 1:40 p.m. at Garden State Parkway milepost 71.5, about two miles north of the Barnegat toll plaza.
