Nearly 6,000 Amazon warehouse workers in Bessemer, Alabama, have voted on whether or not to form a union. But the process to tally all the ballots and determine an outcome will continue for a second week, according to the National Labor Relations Board, a government agency that's conducting the election.

they are conducting the election. Biden turfed the Trumpers out, so it doesn't bother me.

They have to wait for them all to arrive.

It was boggling my mind. I was thinking I could count 6,000 votes in a day or two all by myself.
Gawd, if they're waiting for the mail, we may never know!

That volunteers would break up into groups. The first one took out the inner envelopes holding the secret ballots from the envelopes they were mailed in. The second one took out the ballots. The third unfolded all the ballots and handed them to the people counting and tallying the votes. One group observed to make sure everything was done correctly. If needed the ballots could be recounted.
