(100,973 posts)That "mom authority" sort of thing where she just calmly dismisses the claim in a rational way and moves on to the next thing without emotional baggage attached.
She's great.

.... add up all the things in the President's proposal and see how that compares to the secret memo.
Thermo nuclear Psaki bomb.
I loves me 💘 💗 ♥ some Jen.

(76,697 posts)"sounds mysterious"
She so underplays her response but her words and actions are devastating.
Trying to trip Jen is like old white republicans going up against A.O.C. on social media. It never ends good
for them.

(82,849 posts)I've watched it a couple of times, and each time I've wondered why the "reporter" didn't just stop himself as he was spinning out the basis for his question and say, "You know, now that I hear this out loud, it just sounds stupid. Can I ask another question?"

(43,850 posts)Ohhhhh, a secret mystery memo that says the official account is hiding a third of the actual proposal? As if nobody would notice?
Shes a saint, I swear.

(89,294 posts)Always some young cutie-pie from there, at these things, trying to ask leading questions whose answers might conform to or otherwise validate some ulterior CONservative agenda or talking point. And these girlies clearly demonstrate that they dont know how to use a scalpel in surgery because theyve been motivated to use the easier blunt instrument.
And judging by their youth, it appears they may not have brought much experience to the table. But hey, Network Something-Or-Other invites them aboard, and it puts stars in their eyes that theyd hopscotched straight up into the big leagues long before they were ready for it.
...but they photograph well...
And with these new slap-dash we-want-in-TOO!!! CONservative news networks designed to fight Pix Noise for dominance of the newly expanding CONservative media agenda-delivery networks theyre in a big hurry. So theyre taking shortcuts to what they think passes for credibility among the masses of low-information voters. The same ones who want their cockeyed extreme-far-right worldview reaffirmed and buttressed because its more comfortable and validating than actual reality is.
Just my takeaway after observing this syndrome for several years. KKKarl Rove once talked about the strategy: the infamous ...we create our own reality shit. Unfortunately, his infernal dream has become reality.

(11,548 posts)Even without the specific word, I definitely heard her make clear to the NewsMax crackpot that the secret memo is pure bullshit. And she did so elegantly and professionally.

(45,813 posts)I've missed many of her briefings over the last several weeks but have to get back to them. As a former PR professional, sometimes spokesperson, I am in awe of her skills.

(59,877 posts)Newsmax shill: "A memo is widely circulating among American children that a typical small girl lives in an inadequately furnished home, suffers from malnutrition, and has to live with scary household pests. What does the president intend to do about this?"
From the podium: "could you be more specific?"
Newsmax idiot: "well, this specific example concerns at least one younger member of the Muffett family of Nirgendwo, Wisconsin. Their little girl only has one tuffet to sit on, only curds and whey to eat, and she is regularly terrorized by spiders. We have heard this report in almost every state of the union, so there is no doubting its reliability"
