It's been a little busy in the past few days, what with Easter weekend, a too-touchy aging laptop, bad signal, and ex-cop Derek Chauvin's murder trial that's - well - kinda consumed all the oxygen among the usual news sources I track. Maybe what's starting to play out is a kind of "no news is good news" dynamic? More people have been getting vaccinated, little by little stuff's opening back up, here and there. Heaven help us if the impatient, sloppy, defiant, or behaviorally unruly adolescent scoff and misbehave enough to set off a new viral surge. Begging your indulgence anyway, though. And stay safe and sensible, please.
