Republicans have advocated/litigated for "corporate personhood"...

... Citizens United's "Money is free speech", etc.

Now McConnell wants them to stay out of politics. Go figure. This is what they wanted all along, until it threatens their power.

Republicans have been engineering politics and the electorate for decades with lies, bogus ideologies... And, now they reap what they've sowed. Careful what you wish for.

I believe at the end of the day, the populous (consumers) hold all the power. Time to get organized.

"Artificial Persons" such as corporations, partnerships, etc, shall exist at the sufferance of the People, and shall enjoy no special privilege, exemption, subsidy, tax consideration, denied the People.

I forget who said it but this persons comment was that he would not believe corporations were people until Texas executed one...

EVEN AT THE EXPENSE of their bottom-line profits. So, if the cake bakers can choose to NOT want the gay wedding monies, as the SC says, surely coca-cola can decide to find a microphone and state publicly that it it thinks the republican government in GA is full of shit (even if it costs them some republican voter pennies)

That is the price of speech for non-person entities.
Tax it heavily, and publicize each payment.
