Anyone still experiencing mail delay?

I just received a letter about a family member that passed away 22 days ago. It was sent from D.C. to Nashville. I'm guessing the damage Trump and his merry band of assholes did to the USPS is still lingering?

It was a member of my family whom I wasn't on speaking terms with (not that I wanted it that way), so a friend of his had to take care of everything. They never heard from me thinking I was ignoring the letter.

Sick over this!

How many people have found themselves in some sort of legal trouble due to mail arriving late, or not at all?

Yesterday, tracking updated saying the package was in New Jersey.

I mailed another book to Seattle at the same time. It arrived 4 days later.

I have a magazine that used to arrive every Monday 9 out of 10 times. It’s now more often Monday a week late. Last week, I got two weeks on one day.
Any private company declining like that would have already fired the CEO, and replaced the Board, or they would be out off business.

service is sporadic, new mail-delivery persons frequently show up, definite below standard. I'm not in the boonies either, middle of Chicago.

Sent my tax docs to my accountant and my passport renewal to Philly via FedEx, both last week.

And both arrived.
