Tiger Woods car crash was caused by speed

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Tiger was driving 83 MPH in a 45 mph zone at the time of the crash. They say speed was the sole cause of the crash. We're told Tiger waived his right of privacy and authorized the release of the accident report to the public.

We're told the SUV's black box shows Tiger actually accelerated at the time of the crash. We're also told that just as Tiger lost control the SUV actually gained speed.

There's more ... law enforcement sources tell us, the Sheriff's Dept. did not get a warrant to check Tiger's cell phone to determine if he was on a call or texting at the time of the crash. Our sources say the Dept. felt it did not have probable cause to get a warrant for cell phone records, although that is often done in accident investigations.

Why no braking? No physical skid marks and apparently no indication from the black box that the brake pedal was even pressed. Perhaps he nodded off and only woke up after he had left the road.

if he was awake and lost control, he wouldn't have accelerated, he would have braked. But if he nodded off, he could have accelerated, and not braked.

based on an individual's level of fame or athletic abilities.

I will confess to speeding now and again but I've never come close to doubling the posted limit. That borders on recklessness. There ought to be a thorough investigation and reasonable consequences in such instances.

And I will speak up against injustices as I become aware of them. Whether that effects any change, I don't know, but if enough of us insist on equity then hopefully we can move the needle.

It's annoying to realize that no matter what political persuasion a person is, they're likely to be judgmental as heck if they're a political junkie - especially if the person in question is active in the other political party. Politics brings out the worst in people - especially recently.
