JUST IN: Judge restores NM county commissioner Couy Griffin's right to keep guns at his home, cites threats against Griffin following his arrest for allegedly breaching barriers on Capitol grounds on Jan. 6. Judge McFadden: 'You're living in a very different environment than DC.'

Griffin's lawyers noted that even if convicted of current charges, they are misdemeanors, so he wouldn't lose gun rights. Griffin also addressed court directly & said he's received death threats. He's also been accused of making such threats against Democrats, although he denies.
