Pleasantly surprised and pleased someone had the sense to drop charges. (I assume they dropped the charges.)

What the hell is wrong with them. She is a elected official for Christ's sake and did absolutely nothing wrong. She needs more than apology from the Gov. and his male, white-cohorts.

The charges Kemp pressed against Georgia State Rep. Cannon were completely contrived and were in retaliation against her knocking on Kemp's door, which he had locked to keep the signing of the Repubican Tyranny Guarantee Act secret from Democrats.

Look, it was a disruption of normal order perpetrated by LEO's. Was it legitimate or not? Because it DID prevent a legislative member from expressing their legal right to speech. That, then, was preventing constituents' speech as well.

It would be the worst optics possible. The only reason this happened at all is because Kemp has zero f***s to give about optics, especially when it comes to minorities.

Good to know there is still someone in GA's state government that has a functioning brain.
