the politicians for their tax cut and what they received, the tax cut more than paid for itself.

(8,841 posts)3. The tax cut worked as intended, but not how we were told it was going to work.
The people who got this tax bill passed never intended it to help anyone but the super rich.
It was a quid pro quo for campaign contributions...an investment in election futures.
All in all, the ones who passed this bill felt it was a really good deal for about 1% of the nation, and for themselves.
The rest of us...not so good. But then what do they care about us?
