"SNIP......
Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) backed off his warning that businesses should stay away from politics, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Said McConnell: I didnt say that very artfully yesterday.
He clarified that companies are entitled to be involved in politics: My principle complaint is, they didnt read the darn bill
There are many states right now after the new Georgia law, that are much more restrictive than the new Georgia law.
.....SNIP"

(82,849 posts)Ya think?
What Sen. McConnell meant to say was that businesses should be involved in politics up to their eyeballs on behalf of Republicans, but sit down and shut up if they strayed off the plantation at all.
But anyway, okay, Georgia Mitch: A couple of "reporters" have taken a run at how other states are more restrictive than Georgia's new law. You may have seen Doocy get spanked yesterday by Press Secretary Psaki when he made a half-assed attempt at drawing parallels between Georgia and Colorado. What else you got, fuckface?

Added: This statement by moscow mitch further proves his incompetence and inability to lead on anything, and just proves that he mouths off w/o thinking, as usual. I'm surprised being that his good buddies at ALEC or the Chamber of Commerce didn't tell him what to say (a business org.) with regard to businesses participating in the political process in this Country. Or, they did say something to him and that's why he's backing off his initial comments.
