Trump ranked 1,299 on the Forbes billionaires list, released on Tuesday, with an estimated worth of $2.4 billion.
Last year, Trump ranked 1,001 on the list.
Forbes reported that Trumps estimated net worth in January 2017, when he entered office, was $3.5 billion.
Forbes noted, however, that Trump is richer now than he was a year ago, when the outlet released their valuations at the beginning of the pandemic. His ranking slipped, Forbes wrote, because he could not keep pace with the other billionaires on the list who saw their fortunes rise.
Trump brushed off the results as unsurprising, saying in a statement to The Hill, Thats the way its supposed to be, a politician is not supposed to make money while in office, and a rich person should come out of office with less."

(19,193 posts)the name 'Trump' at $3 billion alone. That name isn't worth the ink it takes to print it now. His golf courses are all hemorrhaging money, his hotels are doing the same, and he owes so much on all of them he'll probably be forced into yet another bankruptcy.
Trump isn't worth jack shit anymore.
I love it!

(64,995 posts)...in a similar thread, this is BS.
Forbes is still using inflated asset values (differing from Moody's Creditworthiness Review by around $900 million), and they're still ignoring the debt from Germany, Russia, & China. Who knows what other loans not yet revealed are out there.
T---p is worth a maximum of $800 million which is embarrassing since he controlled nearly $500 million in 1990.
If(!) that max value is real, it represents under 20% of the yield of index funds over that time.
T---p is NOT a billionaire, and it's actually possible his net worth is in 6 digits.
