woman calls police on white boyfriend. Cops arrested the first black man they see. video released

https://tvshowcity.com/2021/03/11/music-producer-pushed-lapd-to-release-footage-of-alleged-wrongful-arrest/

Music producer Anton Austin says his life was turned upside down about two years ago when police officers arrested him and his girlfriend from a California home in a federal lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles in a racial profiling, excessive force And it was a case of illegal arrest.

With a trial date set for October, Austin hopes the Los Angeles Police Department’s attempt to make public a display of public camera footage of the incident will shed light on his civil rights claims pending his trial and attorney Fiscal Gill Will help describe it as “black”. Hole “: his attempt to obtain criminal charges from that date.

Austin’s lawyer Faisal Gill said Wednesday, “The police had zero justification for arresting my client.” “They never took a swing, they never acted unfairly, they never hit them, they never attacked them – they did nothing.”

In an interview with Austin on Thursday, NBC News, 42, said he hoped the public would have the opportunity to view multiple angles of body-worn camera footage, which he and his legal team have already seen.

LAPD told NBC News that it does not comment on pending litigation.

I see why they didn't want to release video.

Cop #1: "is that him?"
cop #2: "probably"

no other info needed including comparing him to suspect description.

he was the guy they were looking for, didn't even bother to approach and ask questions of the guy minding his own fucking business, and just went right to handcuffs?

FFS. Maybe police departments have to hire smarter people.

At least a four year degree, including pre-law courses, and a two-year apprenticeship before actually being turned loose with a badge would greatly improve matters.

It's as if it was shredded and then pasted back together in disconnected bits.

The whole article is chunked up like this. I can't make sense of it.
