Because he just says "the 6th" and doesn't mention the word "January," it might be from shortly after the insurrection--before all the arrests and studies into who the insurrectionists actually were. Of course he may just be continuing to push the bullshit long after it has been debunked.

I'll never understand how somebody as bonkers as Flynn could somehow become an Army general and then head of the DIA.
