Now Matt Gaetz's legislative director-- a very important positions -- suddenly resigns. This after his communications director did the same a couple weeks ago. Maybe they know that something is up and they don't want to have to hire lawyers?

Besides, Matt Gaetz doesn't need a legislative director. The last thing he will ever do is legislate.

Wonder what his employees know about? They probably just want to get away from him to avoid having to testify-

First, it was unsigned. Second, it seemed written like a PR statement, not a defense.
Finally, being a staffer for an unrespected guy who may be history is not a great item on a résumé.
Of course the "defense" letter gets released. If he's gone, so is their D.C. career.
