Like Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis opted to get his COVID-19 vaccine behind closed doors without promoting the treatment to his skeptical followers.

The Florida governor has become a part of the pandemic story. He has pushed away safety recommendations from the CDC and pushed to open businesses faster. And despite the fact that Florida has the 3rd most cases and the 4th most deaths from the illness, DeSantis frequently praises himself for how he’s handled the crisis.
There is severe vaccine skepticism from Republican men who are likely to support DeSantis or Donald Trump. The two men could have done a great deal of good by getting vaccinated on camera. But in the end, both men opted not to do so......................................
