Insurrectionist whines he's housed with people serving time for "inner-city crimes"

Tweet text:

Lawyer for Tommy Webster, retired NYPD cop accused of beating an MPD officer with flagpole on #J6, says his client is in a "dormitory setting" with people serving time for "inner-city crimes" - "for a middle aged guy whose never been arrested before this has been a shock for him"

Webster has a "sparkling record" with the NYPD which led to "the lofty assignment of protecting the mayor," attorney says - but if he won't be released he wants him moved back to jail in upstate New York

(He's not in D.C., where riot detainees are in a separate wing, causing friction on both sides -- like others arrested elsewhere he's been moved around the country on the way to D.C.)

Tommy has suffered a shock at being treated like a common "inner-city" criminal for his criminal activities. How distressing it must be for him.

Just a moment, Imma search my Big Bag of Fucks . . . Nope, I am totally out of fucks to give for poor Tommy Webster. But if he's looking for sympathy, I'd suggest he search his Funk & Wagnalls between shit and syphillis.

...of your 'fellow officers' as they were getting beaten with American Flags and a slew of other weapons, pepper sprayed, spit on, sworn at, beaten, trampled, punched, eyes gouged, ridiculed and humiliated...damned whiny snowflake.

In fact, I think this ass should be given the opportunity to ask those officers for their opinions on his current scary housing situation.

How would he want a perp treated who beat the shit out of one of his fellow officers? Bet he'd be in there helping with the beat down.

The Baretta Theme is playing on loop in my head.

Seems more and more that whole Golden Rule thing is really good advice. Too bad none of these insurrectionists understand what goes around, comes around.

Karma is making a big comeback in 2021.

And now I'm in prison with all these black people! Surely there must be some mistake!"

He deserves what he signed up for.

So, Tommy Webster don't be such a snowflake. You should know that jail is a determent, yes! You brought this on yourself. I hope the Officer you beat with a flagpole is grateful you are where you are and need to be, locked up.

She was treated like shit because she wouldn't testify against Bill Clinton in a civil case. Chained her to the toilet in her cell, shackled her when out in court, long periods of solitary, ran her on the diesel circuit where male prisoners would verbally assault her...

That's usually the only other option given to most folks. I will add that I find it strange that he is a former cop in general population, but hey, like I said, the alternative is...well, take your pick.

I would pay money to see his reaction back in the day to anybody he arrested complain that they would be housed with "inner city criminals." Who wants to bet that his response would be something along the lines of, "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time." Or, "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes." Especially if their crime had been beating a cop with a flagpole.

Like I said, genpop or solitary. Those are the options that would be given to anybody else, even those in there on much smaller offenses. Why should he be different?

That person would be facing

Assaulting a police officer is a Class C felony punishable by 1-15 years in prison. If a dangerous weapon is used during the altercation, the charge escalates to aggravated assault and the punishment increases in severity to a 1-25 year term in state prison.

Now why would this asshole think he should be treated any different.

Play stupid games win stupid prizes. This asshole is worse than many as he directly attacked an officer, and as a former cop (granted a different jurisdiction) he knows the punishment. Hope he is ready for a long stint behind bars. He has earned nothing less.
