Webster is a former cop. I shack my head.

Lawyer for Tommy Webster, retired NYPD cop accused of beating an MPD officer with flagpole on #J6, says his client is in a "dormitory setting" with people serving time for "inner-city crimes" - "for a middle aged guy whose never been arrested before this has been a shock for him"

Also: "inner city crimes" is an obvious euphemism for "Black people arrested for selling drugs"... which are less serious crimes than what he's accused of doing.

Sometimes they beat someone with a flagpole, sometimes they crush someone's windpipe until they aren't breathing anymore.

It's just their thing.

It's been a shock for us as well. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

If you're good for a few years they may let you move to a two man cell. You could always "check in" and opt for administrative confinement and have your own "room"

Usually the inner city person ( think person of color) who engages in this activity ends up shot dead with few questions asked no matter how minor the assault

When I saw your title I was going to say that any inner city person who beats a cop goes to the morgue, not jail.

. . . however, I imagine the MPD officer whom he beat with a flagpole was thinking to himself "Why is this happening to me and am I going to survive?"

So, well, now that I think about it, no, I'm not heartbroken. Suck it up, cupcake.

was so wrong in comparison, along with his 'replacement' fears; maybe he'll take his licks because he knows that he fought against their equality before the law, and that at least they've never tried to overthrow the government like he did.
