She is trying to get people who have hesitation feel more comfortable by sharing her story. I was like her after getting my first shot; I was terrified by the needle and tearing up in the waiting area (with relief).

I think her strongest point is about how it's not just important for you, but the people you love.

Because of prior bad reactions to vaccinations, Rachel had been advised to hold out for the J&J vaccination.

Finally being able to get a vaccination was very emotional for her. I thought the whole segment was very moving.

Yes, I'm a big Rachel fan.

She wants the family to start getting together again and she feels safe because all of us have been fully vaccinated,

in the mid-atlantic, demand far outweighs supply so people have driven several hours away to rural areas of nearby states to get shots.

I was lucky to get my shots in DC when my zip code and medical conditions qualified me. It's the only time being fat and asthmatic will save my life.

Is it just that I don't see government (or Illuminati, or...?) conspiracies everywhere? Maybe I want to live, and want my friends and family to live, more than do the hesitant. Good, I think.
