Got my "one and done" J&J vaccine this morning!

It's kind of nice to feel that it's over and I don't have to wait for a second dose! Of course I still have to and plan to be careful for a while, but it is kind of a relief. Didn't hurt at all.

I live in Boston and took an Uber to a CVS out in Chelsea. It wasn't very crowded and the whole process (including the 10 minute downtime) took about 30 minutes. I managed to catch a taxi back since Ubers/Lyfts were almost impossible to get.

So far I feel fine, but it hasn't been very long. We'll see how I feel tomorrow, but at least it's Sunday and I don't have to work. I will be watching my sister's dog starting next weekend for a full week while she and her family are on vacation, so as long as I am feeling better by then, all will be well. Can't wait to have my little (big) friend come to visit!

I was suppose to get long visits last summer but.... they didn't want to kill me. It has been a couple years since a visit.

There will be a lot of happy reunions after all this is over! We have Joe and the scientists to thank for this! He has done a great job at rolling this out!

That's how I felt after I had the flu shot and pneumonia shot simultaneously, but at least I knew my immune system was functioning well.

for me anyway. I didn't have a sore arm at all with the J&J.

Glad you got yours!

My hubby and adult sons got the J&J and side effects were nothing beyond a bit of tiredness at the end of the day they got them (they all had morning appointments). I am confident you will be just fine!

I purposely signed up for a weekend just in case there were side effects. I did not want to have to work through the worst of it or call in sick. Hope you are doing well!
