(42,550 posts)Generally, single wealthy young-ish men dont need someone else to give them access to women. Unless theres something repellent about them that drives the ladies away within a short time of meeting them.

(9,090 posts)high school cause he was such an asshole (like trump) and he had a strong sex drive and his own room he probably spent most of his time jacking off furiously, and if he's right handed it would explain a lot.

(36,827 posts)The difference with Trump is some of them turn pro when they sign a contract and eventually they get a pension.
The similarity is they are both so repulsive nobody is going to hang around either of them unless they are getting paid, and for the few that do they will hold them up as trophies as if they have won some kind of prize for manliness.
I can think of few things more pathetic.

(9,110 posts)My husband is constantly stunned by things that just never happened when he was growing up. We've lost our way.
But, it does explain his bizarre decisions to show "proof" on the floor of the Capitol that he had a sexual experience.

(15,936 posts)I got to advance to 7th grade and not be the youngest grade because the 6th graders also got transferred to middle schools. I would have preferred Jr high, but alas the decision wasn't up to me.
In 1970, only 25 percent of sixth-graders were placed in middle schools. During the 1970s through 2000, however, millions of sixth-graders were transferred to middle schools, and ninth-graders were moved to high schools. Seventy-five percent of sixth-graders nationwide now go to middle school.

(22,250 posts)We were in elementary school until we finished 8th grade, then we went to high school in 9th.
I think sometime in the 90s the jr high/middle school were split from elementary schools. The Jr High moved into one of the old high school buildings and two large elementary schools were built. All the schools were located in the same town, in the center of the county.
The neighboring county used the former segregated elementary school buildings as separate first grade schools.
Here in Fort Worth Texas ISD, we have separate schools for sixth grade. FWISD is very inventive when it comes to finding buildings when they need one. For example, when we needed a new high school, it was difficulty in locating a site. One of the local private schools built a new campus and put their old one up for sale. It was in a perfect location. The FWISD bought the campus and saved the district a ton of money! The building was small, so the first year only freshmen were on campus; each year a new freshman class came over until all 4 years were attending the high school. The necessary space for the new classes were added & ready for the next incoming class.
A large empty furniture store was converted into an Applied Learning Center.
A church was converted into a Fine Arts facility
The Home for Unwed Mothers and Adoption Center relocated and FWISD bought their campus and moved the Montessori Magnet School onto that campus. (we have 2 free K-8 Montessori campuses )

(15,936 posts)And as I stated in my previous post about the subject. It wasn't something I expected.
6th, 7th, and 8th graders went to the newly label Middle schools.
9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders went to High school.
Just looked at my 6th grade report card and it was the year 1970 when Tarrant County FWISD changed the system.

(11,563 posts)and Junior High (8 - 10) and High School (also known as Senior Secondary) was 11 & 12. Those two groups were in the same building.
I can certainly see the case for not having 12 or 13 year olds in the same school as 17, or even 18 year olds. Kind of intimidating.
