Spanish motorist pulled over for driving on the wrong side of the road was traveling with the corpse of an elderly man he “loved very much.”

Police came across the pair Thursday when the car being driven by the former turned around upon reaching a checkpoint at the French border, then drove 19 miles back into Spain on the wrong side of the expressway. French and Spanish drivers both travel on the right side of the road.
The driver left the motorway and pulled onto a local road, where he was pulled-over by authorities. The sexagenarian wasn’t clear about why he began driving against the flow of traffic, but he reportedly described his rotting passenger as someone he “loved very much.”
