Meghan McCain's husband says she didn't vote for Biden. I KNEW IT!

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it.

Regular viewers of "The View" know she never said she'd vote for Biden or had voted for him, unlike her mother. She passively-aggressively said their families were close, how Biden is a wonderful person and healing for the country, then on the show regularly launched into Both-Sides attacks and praised imaginary Republican Values. She said she wasn't voting for Trump, never said she'd vote for Biden.

Meghan repeated right-wing talking points that the "radical left-wing" wanting free things and late-term abortions and were, like, totally in control of the Democratic Party. Imaginary late-term abortions are her go-to excuse.

She couldn't bring herself to vote for a Democrat who she said was a moderate and for bipartisanship and a good person. I don't know it for a fact, I just know it's true, but I'm sure she wrote in her father's name for president.

http://salon.com/2021/04/09/who-won-meghan-mccains-vote-for-president-husband-reveals-it-wasnt-joe-biden/

And yes, yes, yes, regular viewers of "The View" don't care. I know.

Ben Domenich? Why would she tell him IF she HAD intended to vote for Biden? Likewise, why would HE tell the truth to his far RW cult audience, if he even suspected she had not voted for Trump?

There is no credibility here on either side. They are both trash, IMO.

Husbands in general often haven't a clue what their wives do, and one suspects this Federalist idjit is more obtuse than the average run.

Not that I hold the least regard for a woman fool enough to marry this wretch.

I assume that even if she did ultimately vote for Biden, it was reluctantly and secretively. Clearly it would NOT be something she would tell her husband.

I don't think it is important who she voted for, as a public figure she likely was far too conflicted to be an opinion leader either way. Not to mention, she likely does not have the cache or gravitas to be seen by almost anyone as a voice to listen to. Her 2019/2020 comments on Trump were very negative, but were not on political issues, but on Trump's despicable attacks on her father. Before marrying a right wing man, that might have been enough for her to vote for Biden, a man she knew to be kind.

The precedent there was that she did publicly say in 2004 that she voted for Kerry, because his support and kindness to her father when McCain was attacked when they were on the Vietnam committee contrasted to Bush's 2000 attacks on her dad. Kerry was to the left of Biden, so I doubt she was politically closer and both are good men. Bush's letting Rove attack McCain as he did was as bad as Trump's many attacks.

I have no idea if she left that office unvoted, voted for a third party, wrote someone in -- or voted Biden. If she did, there is no reason to tell her husband. By the way, what does it say that the husband ENTHUSIASTICALLY supported a man who repeatedly trashed his wife's recently deceased father?

I am willing to be proved wrong, but I doubt that Megan McCain is a good right wing surrogate. She is chaotic and petulant and has no real claim to any expertise on anything - other than John McCain. Even on that, many others likely know McCain, from a political vantage far better and are not blinded by hero worship. As long as Megan IS the "conservative" on the show, they are disadvantaged.

At one time she was very personable. Conservative but personal. Almost, but not quite, like Ana Navarro. At least that's my memory. Then she married Mr. "Federalist" and she went completely off the rails.

I have a totally 'just me suspecting' idea that he perhaps married her, hoping he might be able to be the one to replace her father in the Senate.

Who cares about that show? The only time I saw it was a clip of Biden consoling her about her Father.

We must not forget her Father was a die hard Republican who finally stood up to their ignorance and hate on his last vote in the Senate stopping them killing the ACA. He was also a War Hero.
