* On 'This Week', Maggie Haberman was claiming that Biden's Infrastructure Bill isn't as popular as the Covid Bill was, so the White House will have resort to a major selling job. Several others on the panel pointed out the proposed bill is wildly popular, with even 25% of Repubs supporting it. She had to engage in a lot of backpedaling. Obviously Maggie has been spending too much time talking to Donnie, and his out-of-touch-ness is rubbing off on her.
Also, for the second Sunday in a row, Chris Christie once again accused Biden of lying. Clearly the Repubs are desperate to try and find SOMETHING to try and undercut the popularity of the Infrastructure Bill.
Lastly, Repub Senator Roger Wicker was asked if Repubs would support an Infrastructure Bill if the cost was cut by more than half, down to $1 trillion, and he replied he could not support it, as that was still too large. Folks, we've already seen this movie before.
* On 'Face the Nation', with the Infrastructure Bill so wildly popular, Liz Cheney had to resort to dragging out the Boogieman, by claiming the Dems will have to raise taxes on the middle-class. Nevermind that plenty of revenue can be collected by raising taxes on the Rich & Corporate, therefore there is no need to raise taxes on the middle-class. Apparently, desperation is contagious.

(23,292 posts)'Poor, poor misunderstood Republicans day'. Nancy Reagan, who spent a fortune redecorating the White House while Ronnie was cutting social programs. But it's ok, cuz some of her wardrobe was donated. And whiny ass cry baby John Boehner, who helped drag this nation into the mess we're in but cried about something something cuz he was upset.

If Democrats were on those shows, maybe people like me would be willing to watch them.

(88 posts)It's called the PATRIOT Act. Of course it does infringe on our Constitutional rights, but what would you expect from a Repub written bill?
