Srixon has been a quiet player for a long time, but I suspect the cookie counters are taking a victory lap.

An Asian also won the Women's amateur tournament held at the same course.

I'm hearing republicans in the Georgia house and senate are very disturbed that the tournaments were rigged. Expect to see legislation filed that does the following:

Requires 43 forms of ID and a DNA sample for any Asian to register to play in golf tournaments in Georgia
Make it illegal to supply an Asian golfer with food and water
Allows the Georgia legislature to retroactively impose stroke penalties on golfers regardless of the decisions made on course

Sarcasm of course...

Put one in the drink on the back 9, which cost a few strokes.

He sailed into 18, needing only a bogey to win. Put one in the bunker but recovered easily. It wasn't really a dramatic one stroke victory. Pretty much an insurance stroke.

Congrats to Hideki Matsuyama on a lovely round of golf today, and a wonderful tournament since Thursday.

FYI, referring to someone as "a [nationality]" or "a [skin color]" etc is generally seen as bigoted and it's been that way for many decades.
Recommended: use nationality (or skin color, etc) as a descriptor.
Example: "A Japanese player".
