My brother's neighbor...

I file this under "gee I wonder why cases in the US are so much higher than in most of the world."

My brother lives in town and shares a adjacent driveway with his neighbor. She's an older lady the manager of a white castle hamburger place. She lives in the house with her daughter, daughter's boyfriend and kid. He sees her across the driveway a week ago and she's distraught. She tells him. "Well we all got covid! We went to a party and people weren't safe and now we all got it and have to quarantine for 10 days. He expressed sympathy for her but then did not see anyone at the house for a week. Yesterday he finally sees the boyfriend asks what happened to them all he thought they were under quarantine. The boyfriend tells him well since no-one could work or go to school for a week anyway they all took a trip to Branson for the quarantine...

I suppose on the plus side they are unlikely to see and infect many people in Branson Missouri aside from other unmasked rednecks it seems to cater to that segment of the population...

2. Sounds like they were exposed to covid rather than actually having covid.

Cause I doubt they would have wanted to drive anywhere if they had covid.
Yea, of course traveling while supposed to be in quarantine is not what quarantine is all about.

5. There is so much rampant stupidity in this nation and plenty of politicians and media maintain it.

If the next virus has a death rate higher than this one, we’re doomed as a country/species.

They were having a real Covid problem there not too long ago.

My guess is that they just visited all the tourist traps there and there are many. So they probably just spread it all around.
