The defense must be betting on a hung jury. I cant see any other way out for the defense based on evidence presented so far. Ive served on juries before and Ive had stubborn jurors who refuse to budge and ignore evidence but eventually give up because they have better things to do. I hope no juror is so stubborn as to hang the jury.

I'd say the defense has a whole lot of work ahead of them and I certainly haven't been too impressed with them at this point.

(22,326 posts)doubt that they'll decide it's reasonable. Defense lawyers generally don't set out to prove their clients didn't do it. If a case makes it to trial, their focus becomes raising doubt.

(14,075 posts)My concern is what are the odds that you can sit 12 people on a jury without having at least one juror who believes the police can't break the law.
