Trump Attacks ‘Our Politically Correct Supreme Court’ in Yet Another Statement Raging About 2020 Election

By Josh Feldman Apr 12th, 2021, 7:58 pm

Former President Donald Trump has a statement out yet again complaining about the 2020 election (you’re shocked, I know), this time raging against the Supreme Court.

The statement is ostensibly about court-packing, in response to a commission announced by President Joe Biden, but most of it is his usual baseless claims about the election and about the Supreme Court declining to hear election cases brought by some Republicans, most notably the Texas lawsuit.

“Believe it or not, the President of the United States was not allowed to be heard based on ‘no standing,’ not based on the FACTS,” Trump says in his statement attacking “our politically correct Supreme Court.” He goes on to say they will “get what they deserve—an unconstitutionally elected group of Radical Left Democrats who are destroying our Country.”

Trump’s statement also goes after Mitch McConnell, days after calling him a “dumb son of a bitch,” saying, “With leaders like Mitch McConnell, they are helpless to fight. He didn’t fight for the Presidency, and he won’t fight for the Court. If and when this happens, I hope the Justices remember the day they didn’t have courage to do what they should have done for America.”

Why are we still reporting every single thing he does?

I find it ironic that, for five years, people complained incessantly that he gets too much press coverage, but his every breathless proclamation still gets reported in the media and on DU.

He rages when bad things are happening behind the scenes.

He knows he has committed decades of financial crimes. He knows what they took from Cohen's office. He knows what they have gotten from Trump Org.

He knows the indictments are coming.

After all he spent the 1st 3 1/2 years of his presidency reminiscing about his 2016 victory in the biggest landslide in history, is it any wonder he will whine about getting his ass beat for at least that long?

"Wouldn't it be ironic if....."

Poor spelling and usage of English bothers me more that in should.

These folk want to run the US. Their words are ambiguous and poorly written. Language is precise for a reason; the most appropriate words are chosen to describe a contract, law etc.The language of Government must never be ambiguous.

It must be an open question; there is no closing punctuation.
