NYU Wagner’s Students for Criminal Justice Reform (SCJR) is hosting a virtual debate among the Democratic Primary candidates for Manhattan District Attorney on April 15, 2021 from 6:00-7:30 pm. The event is moderated by Khalil A. Cumberbatch, and cohosted by NYU Wagner Graduate School Public Service, along with

NYU Cross-Cutting Initiative on Inequality
The Center on Race, Inequality, and the Law, NYU School of Law
Evolving Justice, NYU Silver School of Social Work

Institute for Human Development and Social Change, NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development

Through the event, attendees will learn about the importance of the role of Manhattan District Attorney in the criminal justice system and hear from seven of the eight democratic primary candidates, Tahanie Aboushi, Alvin Bragg, Liz Crotty, Tali Farhadian Weinstein, Diana Florence, Lucy Lang, & Eliza Orlins. Due to scheduling conflicts, Dan Quart is unable to attend.
