George Floyd now on trial...

For past drug use in 2017.or 2019 ,retired emt ..seems to be giggling through her confused testimony....judge has warned jury not to take this as attempt to harm his character.....as defense attempts to do so....pathetic

1. I'm not sure the first 2 defense witnesses accomplished anything for the defense.

The prosecution brought out that Floyd was examined, and had high blood pressure, but normal respiration, normal pulse, and apparently was released without requiring any treatment. That doesn't appear to strengthen their case that Floyd died from an overdose.

However, I wonder if it might be useful/permitted for the prosecutor to demonstrate this by not speaking for 9 minutes and 29 seconds.

They're probably viewing a complete acquittal as unlikely given the evidence thus far. No Way they get 12 jurors to acquit. But 1 or 2 MAGA nuts, who think that ALL police are perfect, now that's achievable in their eyes, I'm sure.

Alert: a defense attorney's job is to have their client acquitted by any means necessary. One way to do that is to plant doubt in the minds of jurors.
