I mutter them under my breath, hoping they hear what I say and keep the hell away from me.

The age group/ female I wonder if they were all on birth control or what the commonality could be, or why not seen in males
Yes glad for a responsible government now.

11. This specific clotting disorder is very rare - and very deadly (30% in one article reporting it).

I've seen mortality rates from 5% to 50%.

Based on the work done with the AstraZeneca vaccine using the same mechanism (adenovirus delivery of DNA) it is caused by the vaccine. In addition, the normal treatment for clotting disorders can actually make this rare condition worse.

Both vaccine types use completely new technologies. No one should be surprised when we learn new things as we get enough data to establish additional risks that it would have been impossible to know when emergency approval was granted. And when those risks are deadly, it is reasonable to pause to figure out (1) what warnings should be added (2) and who is at risk so they can choose a differeent vaccine.

There are two other vaccines available in the US that don't pose the risk that the J&J vaccine does. The frequency is low enough that I doubt it will be halted - but pausing it long enough to issue adequate warnings so that people can make informed choices as to this vaccine is the responsible thing to do.
