recent Atlanta area county Sheriff.

Would that we all didn't know which of the recent massacres I meant.

Sigh...

I mean, we're up to the point where we have multiple mass shootings per day. I think that's already happened three times this year. OMG.

Of course it's ok when they do it, even vandalizing the Capitol of our nation is ok if it's them doing the vandalizing.

A more appropriate name for them and for the Republican Party would be the Bat-shit Crazy Party! Yes!

I'm guessing rioting is going on somewhere?

Honestly I'm getting tired of people making excuses for rioting. That goes for everyone.

I'm completely fine with burning anything and everything to the ground if that's what it takes to get their attention so that they will listen to us and stop murdering us every day, multiple times per day.

Or we can just bury our heads in the sand and let the police keep murdering us, I guess. That's a valid point of view, too. You do you.

they thought they were justified.

In any event, burning down your own neighborhood has never solved any problems.

But it does creates decades of problems for the very people who are angry.

Comparing the systemic killing of people of color by police to what the Trumpist insurrectionists did in January is obscenely out of place and a ridiculous analogy. I'm tempted to block this person for their bad faith style of arguing. That's such a stupid comparison, I just...I can't with him.

Murdering is horrible and we all know that. So don't pretend it's being excused or minimized. Rioting and murder two both felony crimes.

Rioting is horrible too. Multi-generation horror. It condemns children to live in riot burnt out neighborhoods and their parents out of a job. It doesn't bring anyone back. It doesn't make positive change. It does absolutely nothing positive for the victims of the killings.

That doesn't mean anger isn't justified. But anger doesn't justify destroying communities - especially communities of color which is usually where the rioting takes place.

There are still many neighborhoods still recovering from the riots of the 60s.

Your ideas on this seem dangerous to me and likely to lead to a police state where all of us are in danger of being murdered at every traffic stop.

Oh wait, we're already there.

He was nearly murdered at a traffic stop.

Look. I get it. You hate police situation in the US. I do to.

But being against police abuse doesn't mean that one has to be pro-riots.
