So about this 'missing' VP thing

Am I alone in not recalling Pence giving news conferences (other than Corona ones for a few months) on any kind of regular basis? I keep hearing that Kamala Harris is missing due to not having regular news conferences. Have I really gone forgetful?

the only thing the press would be looking for is daylight between her positions and the president. If she announced something new, the first thing they would di is contact the White House for confirmation.

9. They claim she is missing because she has not visited the border

when she is overseeing it, nor has she visited the triangle countries. I guess they have not yet realized that she has other officials at the border whom she can be in contact with, because there is actually technology to do that. They have also not realized that there is a deadly virus raging in every country and foreign travel is not recommended and that same technology can be used to make contact with the officials in those countries as well. What a concept! Meetings without travel!!. Fucking idiot republicans.

The Vice President is not a significantly public figure. While Biden as VP was tasked with a lot of important assignments, he did not do a lot of public speaking. He was known more for some of his gaffes and for saying, "That's a Big F'ng Deal" when President Obama signed the ACA into law. We know Biden because he has been in politics for ever.

The right wing is engaging in bad faith arguments. They do this to create a false narrative that serves to denigrate the Biden Administration AND to start the smearing of Vice President Harris for when it is time for her to run for President. There is no real concern about VP Harris not being out giving press conferences because that is not the Vice President's job.
