2022 $12.55

2023

According to current statutes, the minimum wage is set to increase again in 2022, this time to $12.55 per hour. In 2023 and beyond, the minimum wage will increase annually with inflation, calculated by the Department of Labor.

Vermont is a small state and we are already at $11.75

It would be interesting to see what they would come up with for rent, utilities, food, clothing, cleaning, personal care and paper products, transportation, daycare, medical care, school expenses, etc. In the real world, $10/hr. won’t pay for rent in many American cities. Especially Romney, who’s theoretically a money guy, and Sinema, both are seriously divorced from reality.
