So far, no side effects from either dose. I was told by someone who got the Moderna vaccine that his side effects started 11-12 hours after he got his second dose. I'm still about an hour away from that. I do feel tired and have a bit of a headache, but that could just be from having an incredibly busy day, capped off by an evening workout at the gym.
Overall, so far, so good.

That's what the CDC says. You should get it as close to the recommended time as possible, but it's ok if it takes up to six weeks.

(17,281 posts)I got my second at 3:45pm and woke up with chills at 5am. So mine was more like 13 hours. Good luck! Even if you happen to get a few side effects they pass pretty quickly.

(27,556 posts)Specifically, heart rate, breathing, fatigue and an outbreak of the HD (hidradenitis suppurativa) that has plagued me since I was hospitalized with Covid, but had subsided with the other symptoms.
My interpretation: the inflammation in my body reactivated to a certain extent.
