He has eliminated the mask mandate for the state as just posted on the news(NECN). With the virus and variants, he is putting everyone, not just the state residents but those who may visit in danger of exposure.
This move is premature and puts so many of us in additional jeopardy.
I cannot understand what would prompt this announcement but it is ill advised.
Please, those of you from NH, wear your mask. Not just for yourself but for others who may be exposed and unprotected.
We are all trying our best to protect ourselves and others. What reasoning does your governor have for this announcement? Please express your concerns to the governors office.

(50,237 posts)I feel lucky I spend most of my time in Vermont which is much more sane (and, surprisingly, also has a Republican governor - something I'll never understand).

(7,471 posts)I have yet to see anyone without a mask(except a few kids walking the street in the PM.)
Yesterday a young man approached me as I raked the yard, he apologized as he asked me if I had an extra mask he could have. He drove to a local garage and forgot his mask. Yes, I had one for him, I keep a box of them by my door and a few extra in the glove compartment of my car. We can all forget but to deliberately go without is not excusable.
There was no reasoning posted on the news for the NH governors decision. It angers me. Too many of us are trying, a few feel they are exempt. If they come down with this horrible affliction and were non-maskers, they will find little sympathy from me. Shame on Governor Sununu.

I can't tell you how disgusted I am with this decision. I have 2 doctors in the family plus my personal doctor, they are not happy with this decision either.
