One week after mass shooting in Bryan TX, Texas House passes bill allowing Texans to carry handguns in public without license or training. This is same state where you can vote with gun permit but not student ID. Theyre literally making it easier to carry guns & harder to vote

(17,536 posts)They want to wear guns to intimidate others. They want to "own" liberals and people of color. The very people who want to carry firearms openly are the very people that you don't want to own a firearm.
About 40% of the population think that gun rights are the most important issue facing America today and that any infringement on anyone being able to carry any weapon they choose is a strike at the heart of the US. They don't give a tinker's damn about what they will give up in order to have politicians who will pander to their gun fetishes'. The Republicans have been riding that horse for decades.
Every one of the gun nuts think that they are Constitutional Scholars, and it is crystal clear to them that any regulations, or even speaking of regulations is Un-American. They have been forced fed gun issues as a way to cement the division of the country. Things are going to get worse before they get better.
