I just finished watching the last Frontline 'American Insurrection' and was stunned.

It traces the crazy militia movement to the Waco Massacre and the Michigan Militia. I have never understood this incident. I was out of the country at that time and got very limited news. Sure Koresh was a religious pervert and armed to the teeth. But did all of his followers and children deserve the results? Were they trying to overthrow the government?
