Well, there was collusion.
We knew it all along.
But today, it was validated by intelligence and the President of the United States.
Everybody knew that Paul Manafort was a snake in the grass and was working with the Russians to help pay off a huge debt that he owed them. No wonder he agreed to work as Trump's campaign manager for nothing. He had other ways of getting paid.
It is now painfully obvious that the FBI did not investigate strongly enough. Neither did the Special Counsel, Robert Mueller. The Russians were messing with our elections and the Trump campaign knew all about it. In fact, they were helping them.
Republican efforts to protect Trump and his traitorous gang do not look so sincere today.
Where does sedition end and treason begin?

(488 posts)Trump's crimes are massive. I'm thinking Mr. Biden knows that when Trump and Co. start getting indicted and prosecuted, the whole world turns to that. I'm thinking President Bidden wants to try and get as much as he can get done before that starts. JMO.

The virus in all likelihood would have been stopped in China.
BTW it was not just polling data but data analytics that allowed Russia to microtarget their rat fucking of our election in 2026. Every time Trump and company say "fake news" they were lying. The Trump/Russia connections were very real.

I mean, were not stupid around here, we knew (meaning guessed correctly) full-well wtf he was gonna do with it once Manafort passed it to him... but the admission by the feds today that we were right is a slightly different matter.

Do we yet know what is in the full report? The Buzzfed's lawsuit did not get the full totally unredacted report.

(111,249 posts)because, as Mueller pointed out, he was too stupid, too ignorant, too pigheaded, and too damaged to be an active participant.
It was always Flynn and Manafort and Stone and a few others, but they weren't looking for those guys, they were the hired help.
The outcome would be the same, all would be pardoned before Dumdum left office.

It is amazing how some people, having the chance of their lives to do something amazing, decide instead to leave a legacy that maybe scholars in the future may define it as treasonous acts. I am not saying Muller is a traitor, but his lack of wanting to discover and present the facts is so suspicious because of the outcome, because of the decision to do half the work while dismissing the chance to do investigations that were so badly needed.
If he was not allowed to do the full work than he should have quit, he should have given reasons why he quit and let the country know there were forces derailing his investigation.
Another character who could have changed history is Collin Powel, what an opportunity he had on his hands but decided to throw his principles away instead.
Very sad characters.

(43,137 posts)The topic of Russia was dragged into the campaign, as I recall, when Manafort was hired. Anyone who let that drift by was brain dead. With all the consultants we have in America, why do we need an American who's been consulting in Eastern Europe?
By July, Russia was "listening" as Trump told us. Same deal.
Just my take on it, but sedition is when you rabble rouse to the point of overthrowing the government. Treason begins when you sell out your country to its enemies.

Any DUer knows this. Why its taking our government so long to bring this to light I can only attribute to the insidiousness of the former administrations obstruction.

(2,541 posts)Knew this already but now that there is show me proof The United States of America needs todo something about it. These people stole an election, installed a man who fleeced our treasury, obstructed justice at least 10x, lied about a Pandemic and killed 577,000+ Americans then tried to overthrow our Democracy when he was unable to steal it again.
He is still free living on his golf course...playing everyday. Not one person has been held accountable for this. A couple went to jail but that was for lying to authorities not for collusion with a hostile foreign power or half million dead or coup attempt.
577,000+ AMERICANS DIED
America must respond to this.
