Defense Department confirms leaked video of unidentified aerial phenomena is real

The Defense Department has confirmed that leaked photos and video of "unidentified aerial phenomena" taken in 2019 are indeed legitimate images of unexplained objects. Photos and videos of triangle-shaped objects blinking and moving through the clouds were taken by Navy personnel, Pentagon spokeswoman Sue Gough said in a statement to CNN. She also confirmed that photos of three unidentified flying objects -- one "sphere" shaped, another "acorn" shaped and one characterized as a "metallic blimp" -- were also taken by Navy personnel.

"As we have said before, to maintain operations security and to avoid disclosing information that may be useful to potential adversaries, DOD does not discuss publicly the details of either the observations or the examinations of reported incursions into our training ranges or designated airspace, including those incursions initially designated as UAP," Gough said.

She also said that the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, created in August to investigate UFO sightings observed by the military, has "included these incidents in their ongoing examinations." There have been "a number of reports of unauthorized and/or unidentified aircraft entering various military-controlled ranges and designated air space in recent years" the Navy said in 2019. Last year, the Pentagon released three videos showing "unidentified aerial phenomena" -- clips that the US Navy had previously confirmed were real.

US intelligence agencies have been directed to give unclassified reports about UAP's to Congress in June.

They moved unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Since we were in the desert in AZ, we figured they were some sort of experimental military aircraft... but that was 30 years ago and I’ve still not seen anything with that type of maneuverability. They covered huge amounts of distance in a split second and flew in strange patterns. After about 5 minutes, they disappeared in the blink of an eye. It was weird. I’ll never forget it.

As I recall, even the governor at the time, has recently admitted he saw it too.

The Phoenix Lights. I watched all that unfold in the news with great interest because of what I had seen a few years earlier (‘94). What those folks described and filmed was nothing like what I saw.

It’s the only time I’ve heard someone describe something similar to what I saw. It’s from Stephenville, TX.

We were camping on the Hopi Reservation outside of Flagstaff when I saw... whatever it was I saw. Two other people were with me. From where we were sitting, we had several miles of clear visibility.

This is hard to describe. The lights were bouncing across the sky. The movement was so erratic. They strobed different colors. Whatever was behind the lights appeared to large, dark and either round or oblong. They would come closer to us and a split second later be miles away. Then they would zoom back towards us. It was like they were joy riding, or giving us a show. They made no noise, at all.

When they were not bouncing, they moved in straight lines. They would zip on a diagonal plane to our left, zoom back in our direction, zoom straight up in a vertical line. Then could also move laterally. Then they would stop and hover and “bounce.” They were fast. So, so fast. The whole thing lasted may e five minutes.

Like I said, it was weird.

This is a screenshot from the TV show. A person in TX took a still photograph and this is how it came out. I think these are ‘bouncing’ like the ones we saw.

3. In the mid-60s I was hitchhiking across Texas

Around noon I was standing alongside a country road with no one in sight.
There was a large field behind me and beyond that trees; a large wooded hillside.

Something I can only describe as a large gray cigar-shaped object silently floated over the trees and then disappeared.

I saw no windows or wings or tail. And I heard no sound.

In years since then I have read about cigar shaped UFOs but their description did not quite match this one. I don't believe it was a blimp because it just floated almost at treetop and I don't think a blimp would fly that low.

What I saw was in the 1960‘s in Texas.

This is from 2018:

"UFO sighting in Texas? Keller resident records mysterious 'cigar-shaped' object in the sky"

“... one commenter comparing the footage to "the classic cigar-shaped UFO" he saw in the mid 90's over Reading, Pennsylvania.”

“... similar UFO sightings were reported in Brownsville in August 2016 and El Paso in August 2018.”

going back decades, or literally hundreds of years if you research UFOs in paintings rendered by artists from around the globe, before popular culture.

10 years ago, if you even mentioned UFO's, you would be called a cook and a conspiracy theorist. Now I think we're in the majority, because the evidence is overwhelming. The majority of DU also appears to believe that a UFO crashed in Roswell, NM 1947.

Anyway, it could only be one of four things:

1) A new military aircraft/drone that is so super-secret that only a few know about yet.

2) Another country's advance prototype aircraft/drone.

3) A mad scientist's aircraft/drone or advanced hologram projection.

4) An alien spacecraft.

Any other possibilities?

I mean, when the SR-71 Blackbird was testing in the early to mid 60's, I'm sure many thought its speed wasn't possible with the technology that they had at the time.

With that being said, I agree with you. It would be extremely unlikely that any country has that kind of tech.
