of another mass shooting taking out multiple lives. It's so depressing, makes you want to just stay off the news channels, even take a break from DU.

It used to be that these incidents were uncommon enough that we'd be shocked. Now we're just depressed. Cops just killed another black person, or beat up an old lady, or tased a guy because he wouldn't give them his phone without a warrant; some asshole with an AR-15 shot up a school or a shopping mall or a workplace; here we go again. Trump is gone but shit remains.
