"What liberties are you referring to?", because there are hardly any restrictions anymore for the majority of things. Some States are still holding limits on large public gatherings(stadiums, concerts, etc..), there are still minor restrictions in air travel and some State still have minor restrictions on some types of businesses. But that's it.

Jordan is just a one-trick pony, like many Republicans, and has no real ideas for any problems and just plays "defense" against the old, tired and nonsensical meme of the faceless entity that's always trying to "steal their liberties".

It is all bumper sticker terminology meant to appeal to his ignorant base, who can only comprehend concepts that are five words or less. It is all getting very old and redundant and he doesn't have any more tricks in his bag. He has the "liberty" to sit down and shut up or maybe actually do his job for a change, instead of performing for the cameras.

Any society has restrictions and most people realize that is a price we pay to live in a civilized world. We don't always like them or agree with them, but short of living in a shack in the wilderness, we have to either change the laws or live with them.

I think it was just performative outrage aimed at a particular audience, and that even he doesn't believe his own bullshit.

He should count himself lucky that he's never actually experienced a meaningful infringement on his liberties, because I understand that the real thing isn't very pleasant.
