Our national embarrassment is slowly being forgotten. But every day I’m reminded of the damage done by the previous guy. I suppose we always had a lot of RWNJs in the US, but they tended to stay under the radar. With the Fat One they came out loud and proud of their ignorance and politicized things that had nothing to do with politics (like science). I’m sure they haven’t gone away but at least are less vocal.

It was really fun watching until then. Gorsuch prepared for it far better than most, a disappointment since I was hoping his tenure would begin as undignified as it is dishonorable.
