Our nation grieves with the families who lost loved ones in Indianapolis and we pray that those who were wounded recover quickly. As I said last week, we’ve had more tragedy than we can bear and solutions to prevent gun violence exist. @POTUS and I urge Congress to act.

I won't allow the gun nuts to divert my attention. "It's too soon to . . ." Bullshit. It is always time to talk about making the world safer. The dead can be buried amidst the whirl of our discussion. What's most important is for us to have the discussion. And if it is held in the white hot anger of absolute disgust, then so be it.
