Taking #AngloSaxon out of context to mean racist is the same as the idiots that lied about me and #JewishSpaceLasers.
Jake, how about you tell your favorite communist @AOC

(20,630 posts)I'd cough up for that too, but I'm afraid it would end like that PPV boxing match of Mike Tyson vs. Peter McNeeley.
A million and a half PPV customers paid to watch an 89 second fight before McNeeley's manager pulled him out for the sake of preserving his life.
They'd have to promise she wouldn't storm out on the second question.

(7,778 posts)Not sure Id hang my identity on Anglo Saxon identity. They were living in mud huts while the Romans, Greeks and Egyptians had highly developed cities. But some elements will be remarkably familiar to the Wipipo Caucus...
Following the Norman conquest, many of the Anglo-Saxon nobility were either exiled or had joined the ranks of the peasantry.
However, the population of England at home remained largely Anglo-Saxon; for them, little changed immediately except that their Anglo-Saxon lord was replaced by a Norman lord.[132]
The chronicler Orderic Vitalis, who was the product of an Anglo-Norman marriage, writes: "And so the English groaned aloud for their lost liberty and plotted ceaselessly to find some way of shaking off a yoke that was so intolerable and unaccustomed"
The larger narrative, seen in the history of Anglo-Saxon England, is the continued mixing and integration of various disparate elements into one Anglo-Saxon people. The outcome of this mixing and integration was a continuous re-interpretation by the Anglo-Saxons of their society and worldview, which Heinreich Härke calls a "complex and ethnically mixed society".[139]

The republican Congress, in both the House and the Senate, is one big Anglo Saxon caucus.
MTG should be chastised for wasting money on redundancy. It's probably because she isn't getting committee appointments, so she's inventing her own.

(20,630 posts)If you think about it, you probably could not find a corporate board room, charity panel, or club meeting with that many white men at one table. Seriously.

(9,989 posts)Taking something that is obviously, blindingly, blatantly racist and saying it's not racist. Gaslighting people and trying to devalue the meaning of the word. Over time, the sheer volume and repetition of the denials will work on some people.

(63,970 posts)most are blind to their actions and attitudes and how other people view them. And most people are put off by the attitude. After all, is there really a greater insult than "I don't give a shit what you think?"
