(31,382 posts)make an emergency landing in the ocean. Pilot was ok. Story in the LA Times next day identified the pilot as F. Lee Bailey, who had been a Marine Corps pilot. This was many years prior to him being one of OJ's defense attorneys.

(12,363 posts)They've been completely rebuilt and inspected and certified for flight.
We don't know what went wrong here, but this can happen to just about any aircraft, no matter how modern it is, especially prop driven planes.
